FOOD GIFT AND SECONDARY PACKAGING
Custom Food Packaging Boxes
Coordinate structure, compartments, graphics and packout for a clear, gift-ready food presentation.
Huizhi develops printed paper packaging for food gift sets, confectionery, bakery and seasonal presentation. The project scope must clearly distinguish primary food-contact packaging from secondary or gift presentation packaging so materials, testing and supplier responsibilities can be reviewed correctly.

PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Define the Food-Contact Boundary First
Many gift boxes hold individually wrapped products, jars, tins or sealed pouches and therefore function as secondary packaging. Other projects may require materials that directly contact food. Those two scopes must not be treated as the same.
Huizhi begins by confirming what touches the food, what remains sealed, the packout method and destination-market requirements. The structure, compartments, print, finish and sample plan can then be developed without making unsupported compliance assumptions.

CUSTOMIZATION OPTIONS
Build the Specification Around the Product
Options are reviewed as one connected production system. Final materials, dimensions and processes are confirmed only after the complete brief is assessed.
Contact scope
State whether food is sealed in primary packs or will touch the paper packaging. Any applicable material or testing requirement must be identified before quotation.
Structure and compartments
Rigid boxes, folding cartons, sleeves and corrugated formats can be developed around item count, orientation and gifting experience.
Internal organization
Paperboard dividers, trays or other insert routes can be assessed for individually wrapped items, jars, tins or accessories.
Artwork and seasonal graphics
Full-panel illustration, colour systems, campaign versions and information panels are coordinated with the dieline and print route.
Decorative finishing
Foil, embossing or debossing, spot UV, lamination and specialty papers can be reviewed for suitability with the selected construction.
Packout and delivery
Individual units, assortment layout, master-carton and destination are considered when confirming dimensions and packing.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Planning Custom Food Packaging Boxes
Is this for direct food contact or secondary packaging?
Please state whether the product is sealed in a pouch, tray, jar or other primary pack. Direct-contact projects require their material and market requirements to be identified and verified separately.
Can compartments be developed for several items?
Yes. Provide the item count, dimensions, weight, orientation and preferred reveal so the compartment and insert route can be reviewed.
What product information is needed?
Item dimensions and weight, primary-pack format, contact boundary, quantity, destination, assortment layout, artwork, desired structure and target timeline.
Can seasonal artwork and decorative finishes be sampled?
Yes, subject to material and artwork feasibility. Colour, foil, embossing, spot UV, lamination and specialty surfaces can be reviewed through the agreed sample route.
How are MOQ and lead time confirmed?
They depend on the structure, materials, print, finishes, insert, quantity and approval route. Huizhi confirms both after the specification review.
